about

I strive to create spaces with a sense of place, where people can fully engage with their surroundings. Finding solutions for the ebb and flow of everyday life allows for us to focus on a space’s primary purpose while also accommodating a variety of uses. I love how where you live, your climate, and the culture, all impact design. From my own experiences living in large cities and small towns, I have honed an adaptability for designing for a variety of project locations.

I continue to learn and develop my design skills as clients broaden my perspective on life and am excited to create something with you, truly unique to your life.

Designing kitchens is a prime example of the variety of each person’s everyday life. I have worked with clients from Budapest, Hungary to New York City through California in the US, and Guadalajara, Mexico. Each kitchen was distinct, reflecting the unique needs and lifestyle of the people who use it.

Design has been in my family for generations. I grew up having color theory lessons at my grandmother’s kitchen table, with the sounds of humming sewing machines and whirling power tools, as my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother continuously created places of joy and connection. Living on Maui with my own family and our water dog, Nala, we explore nature, experiment in the kitchen, and are avid pillow fort makers.

Here on Maui, I run my own firm serving locally in person and virtually anywhere you are.
